Division Notice

Boyle School to re-open Monday, May 12

The evacuation order for the Village of Boyle was lifted on Thursday, May 8. Boyle School will remain closed on Friday, May 9 to allow students, families, and staff impacted by the evacuation time to return home and recover from this challenging and disruptive experience. In addition, the Aspen View Maintenance Department will be on site to assess the Boyle School building and ensure all systems are fully operational prior to reopening.

Boyle School will reopen on Monday, May 12. Busing will also resume, however, some routes may be cancelled or altered due to ongoing evacuation orders that may be in place in some areas. Please use the Bus Status app or Boyle School/Aspen View websites for updates.

If circumstances change and Boyle School is unable to reopen on May 12, teachers will begin contacting families to arrange educational continuity support until in-person learning at Boyle School can resume.

Aspen View Public Schools sincerely thanks all the firefighters, first responders and volunteers for their heroic efforts in combating this wildfire, and we salute our school families and staff for their resilience and courage through these challenging circumstances.
